Hello. I'm running a MythTV back-end with KnoppMyth R5A26. I've
recently become aware that R5A26 has known problems with
communicating with front-ends. I've been attempting every known
solution on mysettopbox.tv's forums to try and rectify this. Is there
some kind of special tool that can pin this problem down exactly, or
any kind of tips that aren't well known?

Or would my best option just be downgrading the back-end? If I were
to downgrade my back-end, would I have problems if my front-end
version was newer?

Thanks for all the help.
