OpenGL vsync won't work with ATI... AFAICT it's nVidia who supports this
"standard."

For RTC, your MythTV user needs to have read/write permission for
/dev/rtc, and your /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq parameter needs to be
1024; perhaps made permanent using the 'systune' facility.
