[mythtv-users] How to default to recording groups view in watch recordings?

i think what you want is the list view (i believe that's the correct
name).  this allows you to drill down by show to your individual
recordings.  so on the far left i see something like:
 all
modern marvels
extreme engineering
stargate sg-1

the three categories under 'all' i have set to record at any time so i
get the whole series.  if i happen to record one show of something it
will also show up in this list.
if i select 'all', i see all shows recorded to the right.
if i select modern marvels, i see all episodes of MM to the right.

is this what you were looking for?  if so i'll dig through setup when
i get home and tell you how i set it up.  it isn't the default view
under manage recordings.
