Yep. As a workaround I've been using mencoder (mplayer encoder app) 
which works fine. It's a bit of a pain identifying the .nuv (I have a 
hacked script that uses the nuvexport libraries to "ls" the 
recordings), and of course it doesn't do cutlists.

I have a feeling this is already known to the myth developers - maybe 
someone can confirm?
