I don't see that happen often. If it's a frequent problem, I suggest 
scheduling your daily mythfilldatabase update to happen at an appropriate 
time of day to be most likely to catch the updates.

mythfilldatabase should update the changes, as long as they exist at the time 
of the update. You shouldn't need to dump any guide data.

I'm mostly just living with it. I have some channels for which the guide is 
often offset by 1 or 3 hours, as if in the wrong timezone. If there's a show 
I want on one of those channels, I just set it to record whatever show is in 
the offset timeslot.

The funniest examples of wrong listings is the TV Guide channel, here it's off 
by 3 hours. The content that channel shows in the top half of the screen is 3 
hours behind the schedule they show in the bottom half of the screen. :)
