There is a driver that can be installed in windows to allow access to
the nuv files to windows media player (or any other app that uses direct
show).

I've found this works quite well in playing videos on a windows box
(well except for my dad's messed up win98 system)

And I personally just use mplayer to play the files on my linux box
(which has the nuv patch added and is from atrpms.net)

Yup, a New feature needs to be added to "delete entire group". or a fix
to the mythweb frontend to go back to the "show" after deleting instead
of going to the entire list of shows.

I tend to use phpMyAdmin to play with the database.. it should easy the
creation of SQL. but playing with the DB directly is "at your own risk".
it required deleting records from the recorded and oldrecorded tables
