If you read a little bit closer you will see this paragraph:

"but Red Hat doesn't let you use it at system install time, unless you type in "linux xfs" at the boot: prompt when firing up the installer CD. Same thing with ReiserFS and JFS, just substitute reiserfs or jfs for xfs in your boot"
