[mythtv-users] "Unable to initialize VIA CLE266 HW Driver"

I've been using the epiawiki.org Gentoo instructions.

Most things are sortof working for mythfrontend, but when I try to watch 
a livetv or a recorded program mythfronend tosses the following error 
and exits:

Unable to initialize VIA CLE266 HW Driver

Is this a problem with libddmpeg.so?
