[mythtv-users] Shutting down the scheduler

Is there a way to shut down the scheduler so nothing gets recorded?  I plan
on upgrading from 0.15 to 0.16 sometime in the future and while I'm working
on the box (rebooting, upgrading, testing etc) I hate how it will try and
keep recording.

Usually I end up with a bunch of segments of an episode and all the good
episodes deleted because it counted each segment as an episode.
