I have just tried playing back what was recorded live and it had no
sound. So Mythtv is not recording from the right device. Any suggestions
how to get some voice to be recorded.

What is the command that dumps out the alsa settings?

On a side note, are there any files where I can just read the setting in
a test editor for Mythtv setting?
