I use my epia MII 12000 as a combined backend / frontend with a PVR-350.
Since the PVR is doing the mpeg2-enconding this works fine. One point to
mention is that if you use the hardware XvMC support (via CLE266) you can't
use the deinterlacing features of myth. Besides this I'm mostly happy with
my system although I don't use every feature so far (PCMCIA etc.) Most of
all I love the form factor... (I'm using a Cubit 3 case, very stylish).

By the way: I'm using Debian unstable, 2.6.8.1-epia1 kernel, X.Org 6.8.1
with Unichrome support, ivtv 0.1.10pre2-chk100z, myth with via XvMC support
