[mythtv-users] myth-setup question

Now I'm getting somewhere. It seems that hotplug didn't manage to
autodetect the proper frontend driver for my card, which (I found out
by trial and error) is a ves1820:

Linux video capture interface: v1.00
saa7146: register extension 'dvb'.
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:01:06.0[A] -> GSI 18 (level, high) -> IRQ 201
saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem dfaed000 (revision 1, irq 201) (0x13c2,0x0002).
DVB: registering new adapter (Technotrend/Hauppauge PCI rev2.1).
DVB: VES1820(0): setup for tuner sp5659c
DVB: VES1820(0): pwm=0x40
DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (VES1820 based DVB-C frontend)...
Technotrend/Hauppauge PCI rev2.1 adapter 0 has MAC addr = 00:d0:5c:21:a6:cc
gpioirq unknown type=0 len=0
DVB: AV7111(0) - firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068, app 8000261c
DVB: AV7111(0) - firmware supports CI link layer interface
eth0: link up.
av7110(0): adac type set to 0
videodev: "av7110" has no release callback. Please fix your driver for
proper sysfs support, see http://lwn.net/Articles/36850/
saa7146_vv: saa7146 (0): registered device video0 [v4l2]
av7110: found av7110-0.

So I now have a frontend and MythTV can see my card properly as the
DVB-c device it is. Next I'd like to scan for channels, but xawtv and
scantv won't work, exiting saying that the "device has no tuner".

Are there other tools I can try?

Best regards,
Albert.
