Yup.  Clipping out commercials without re-encoding is a popular feature
request, especially in the context of recordings from PVR-x50 and
HD-x000 cards.

Perhaps we want a separate option from transcoding to just remove the
cut sections.  (Not that transcoding shouldn't do that, also.)

For HDTV, we really need transcoding profiles to be dependent on the
source material resolution and dimensions, with the option to cut off
the side bars for material that is upscaled 4:3.
