[mythtv-users] Alsa: duplicate output to SPDIF?

Hi,

I am reading into alsa, but still haven't been able to find out if this is
possible (and what plugin I would need).  I am using this .asoundrc at the
moment: http://www.mythtv.info/moin.cgi/DigitalSoundHowTo, which works
just fine.  The dvd-player (Ogle) sends output over spdif to my stereo and
everything else goes straight to the tv.

But... I would like to send analog signals to both my tv and my stereo, so
I don't have to leave the tv on when I select an internet radio or an mp3
list (and it sounds better over the stereo as well).

I have tried this .asoundrc
(http://astron.berkeley.edu/~mperrin/software/.asoundrc), but it will give
me stuttering sound on my tv (haven't listened to the stereo with this
yet).
