[mythtv-users] HDTV and 2.6.9

I finally upgraded from 2.6.7 to 2.6.9... and downgraded immediately
thereafter. Has anyone else had problems with greater occurrence of
buffer overruns in the pcHDTV-modified bttv driver with 2.6.9?

FWIW, to get my 2.6.9 config I copied over .config, did make
oldconfig, and took all the defaults. All my external drivers
(pcHDTV, alsa, nvidia, ivtv, and lirc) are the same. The -ck3 patch
helps somewhat, but not enough.

As for the external pcHDTV drivers, the official distribution has the
problem that the HD-2000 can't be tuned. I copied the patched media/*
files from 2.6.7 into the new external driver set and use them to
build drivers for both kernel versions, which is potentially the
source of my problem. I should see if the buffer overrun problems
occur with the official (broken) distribution.

Still, any corroborating accounts would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Kyle
