[mythtv-users] Trouble with HD playback

I just got my HD3000 card and before I play with it, I have been doing
som tests to be sure my MythTV box can play HD. Right now I do not have
a HDTV display, so I am using the built-in S-Video out of my Pundit.
Once I build up the cash I'll look into getting a new TV, but for now
I'd like to get HDTV working with my current setup.

I can successfully play Jarrod's ABC in HD clip on my Pundit using the
built-in video out (s-video), but the image plays with a very large
black border around it. If I change the aspect ratio to 16:9 Zoom, then
the image fills the screen, but then the OSD is stretched beyond the
screen and is difficult to read. So, I am trying to figure out what
resolutions/modelines I should be using to view 420p, 720p and 1080i.
Admittedly, I am quite a NooB where HDTV is concerned.

Thanks much,

Jason
