[mythtv-users] Sound not working

tip you can use fuser /dev/dsp to find out if anything is using it
rather than ps and grep

have you checked to make sure /dev/dsp exists?

also, you might try creating an empty file at
/var/lib/mythdvd/temp/mtd.log and see if that helps
