Heh, I'd love to use the Sun Fire V880 and 2TB Hitachi SAN we've got at work
for Myth (we have a V480 also, but the V880 is about 4x the size and power
=)...
But yeah, like others suggested, you'll only be able to use it as a data store
via NFS. Someone *just* announced they had the basic MythTV functionality
ported to FreeBSD, but that's about as close as Myth is to running on
Solaris. I'm making the assumption that you're running Solaris and not Linux
on that thing, anyhow. Not sure if it would work if you were running Linux on
that thing, but I wouldn't run anything but Solaris on nice Sun hardware like
that. ;-)
