[mythtv-users] Is it possible to transcode mpeg2 to mpeg2 to delete marked sections?

I have a pvr250 based system and really like the full resolution and quality
of the mpeg2 files. I would like to remove the commercials from some shows
without losing resolution or quality. Can this be done with the transcode
feature (after manually marking the commercials)? What transcode settings
should I specify?
