[mythtv-users] MythTV is Discriminating

I have seen on many occasions artefacts inherent in the digital signal that 
comes from my cable provider.  Pixelation, loss of picture and/or sound, etc.  
These are extremely random as far as occurance goes, but I've experienced 
them, seemingly, more often on some channels than on others.  HBO has been 
one of the affected channels.

The only way to find out if MythTV is the cause of this is to watch "old-time 
TV" alongside livetv and notice if the problems afflict one or both.

How is your cabling, splitting quality-wise?
