yes!!! it worked!! and makes sense too!! *chuckles* 

thanks for that :) it also fixed another nagging problem (which now
makes absolute sense) in that when I was exiting live tv.. the video
stopped but the audio didn't.. so could still hear the tv when I was
back in the menu's :)

btw.."It sounds like (PNI) you're sending" whats PNI stand for? not seen
that one...

now.. if I can just get this remote to work more than once.. I can move
this whole setup downstairs to my main tv :)
