Ok, here's the verdict after setting the pre and post record times back to 0 
seconds...
It WORKS!!!!!  :)   I suppose I would suggest either a check be put in place 
for this, or just a notice so people are careful not to make a goofy mistake 
like this one.  Maybe make some correction in the code so the backend isn't 
fighting with itself when someone does record a back to back show with pre 
and post recording extensions in place.  Anyhow.   Happy Days are ahead...

(Now the flagging issues need to be addressed and we'll be all set.  :)
