Alright, I was getting the same issues with the Xinerama errors.  I really had
to to do a hack to get it to ocmpile, but it appears to work just fine.  The
hack involved editing the qmake.conf file in /usr/qt/3/mkspecs/linux-g++/ .  I
added on to the end of the QMAKE_LIBS_X11 line a -lXinerama .  After this, I
did another qmake mythdvd.pro and it compiled without issue.  Good luck!
