If I'm not mistaken, Samsung DLP's have DVI input.
Just get a DVI-out card (saw one at Microcenter 
for $30) and your system will have an all digital
path from the software to the TV's imager.  If
that's the case, then the only real issues you
have are resolution support and XV acceleration, 
both of which are fairly easy to come by.
