Just in case anyone's interested, I put together a MythTV frontend with a K6-2 500 MHz processor, nVidia MX-440 (for XvMC), and 850 MB hard drive.  It's using 750 MiB (with kernel source) running Debian (sid/unstable).  It's a nice, cheap NTSC frontend (even though NTSC:mono::ATSC:stereo).
