I have the same thing... how do you handle that ? can you put some set XV_AUTOPAINT_COLORKEY command after xine in mythvideo settings ?
Maybe with test_ioctl ?

fex. xine -f %s && test_ioctl XV_AUTOPAINT_COLORKEY=1 ? does that work ..

I dont have working system at the moment, but I bet I will be strugling with that thing soon 8)
Atleast it happens to me with ati binary drivers and fedora core 1.

  Subject: [mythtv-users] Xine with Xv and Myth LiveTV

  I've setup Xine for use with MythDVD and I noticed when I use the Xv video output with Xine, Myth LiveTV as well as recordings blank the video when playing. I've looked at xvinfo before and after Xine and Myth using Xv and the only difference I can find is XV_AUTOPAINT_COLORKEY is set to 0 after using Xine. Has anyone else seen this same issue?
