[mythtv-users] [off-topic] quick stupid question

Slightly off-topic and probably a stupid question. I just bought a Sony HDTV
projection TV and I'd like to hook up my Myth frontend box to it. I have two
possibilities: component or DVI. The DVI connection is DVI-HD and in the
manual claims to be "not intended for PC use". Is this port compatible with
standard PC video cards which have DVI (NVidia)? Should I instead focus my
efforts on a VGA -> Component converter?
