Hi all,
First I just want to say thanks to all the devs and other contributors,
MythTV is amazing and improving by leaps and bounds. I recently upgraded my
FC1 box from .14 to .15 via atrpms with only minor issues, easily corrected.
So far running better than ever! :)
Now to the issue, which is that a "run as root" box pops up once and a while
on my kde desktop, asking for the password of course. The command showing
is "/usr/bin/mythbackend '-session' '(long mess of hex)'". I looked in the
docs, howto's, and searched the ml archive, but couldn't find any reference.
It did this with .14 and earlier releases also, IIRC. It is mainly an
annoyance that if ignored seems to have no ill effect, but if anyone has any
info or solution it would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Joel Anderson
