     Not too likely.  It's more likely that an higher-quality
motherboard will be more tolerant of bad power (and so can appear to
work "longer/better"), but that's not a given.  It's probably likelier
that a "bad" power supply can cause nasty, intermittent hangs and
crashes (assuming that it doesn't fail, and fry the components in your
PC, or worse -- like catch fire), regardless of the motherboard quality.
You've also got to be careful with power supplies whose maximum power is
close to the minimum needed.  You can't just look at the total wattage;
you've got to verify that the 12V rail can supply the required current.
If it can't, you can run into intermittent nasty hangs and crashes.
