     It depends on the card.  Some cards use high-quality components,
and so people are happy with the TV-out.  Some cards use lesser-quality
components, and so people aren't happy with those.  Then, it's possible
that a given manufacturer might start out using high-quality components
and then switch to lesser-quality ones, or vice-versa.  So far, the
350's TV-out seems to be consistently good (assuming that you can even
find one, that is).

     I have one box with a TV-out from a 350, and another box with an MX
440 TV-out.  The 350's image is better, but my MX440's is, IMHO, "good
enough" (slightly blurrier, but not so much that I care).

     If you only want playback, I'd go the cheap route and get a good,
inexpensive MX 440 card.
