I managed to find a used and abused original release of MA at
blockbuster for sale ($16.99, what a rip. The new one sells for $19.99
at bestbuy. I wonder if anybody buys any of those old games? Except to
xbox/linux hackers of course:)
The "emergency linux" stuff runs, it just can't proceed to extact the
EEPROM contents. Think this means I could go flash Cromwell, but I am
unsure if that would leave the box working. I suppose it might since I
think it replaces the eeprom contents with it's own. But I am fairly
sure it could not restore back to orignal if need be.
May be time to return it and go the EPIA or mATX route.
