[mythtv-users] Changing Channels Crash

I'm having a small problem with mythtv (have tested with tvtime and its 
not an issue there).  If I change channels by just flipping up and down 
(i.e. going through the channels sequentially) everything works fine. 
However, if I manually type in a channel or use the program guide to 
flip to a new channel mythfrontend crashes out.

Here is the output from mythfrontend when it crashes:

2004-07-11 18:56:08 Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
vblank nvidia retrace timeout
Killed

And the backend says:

2004-07-11 18:58:38 Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
strange error flushing buffer ...
2004-07-11 18:58:41 Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
Unable to write to client socket, as it's no longer there

Everything used to work fine, but I recently rebooted and now it doesn't 
work properly.  Obviously I can work around this, but its more than 
slightly annoying :(
