Odd I've not had an issue that my cycle_backend script wouldn't solve.  
It stops mythbackend, unloads ivtv sleeps for a second then loads ivtv 
and starts mythbackend.  That's corrected every issue I've had with my 
pvr250s and m179 using ivtv 1.9
