[mythtv-users] BT878 Kworld card no sound, can't change channel

hi folks:
first thanks to the guys who devoted their efforts developing this
wonderful software.
I'm new to MythTV. I bought a Kworld BT878 based card :

I use gentoo, emerged mythTV with USE="alsa" ( in fact , alsa is
automatically used since I was using 2.6.6 ). the v4l2 driver also
comes from 2.6.6.
I start mysql, mythbackend, mythfilldatabase ( this has one problem,
explained later ). the main problems are
(1) I get no sound from the card.
I started alsa, and xmms works fine on the system.
I set the sound volumes following instructions from the mythtv
doc,
$ amixer set Master,0 100%,100% unmute
$ amixer set Line,0 75%,75% mute captur
$ amixer set Capture,0 100%,100% mute captur
$ su
# alsactl store
# exit
$
I list the output of "amixer" in the attached log file.
the Tuner card's lineout is connected through a wire to the
line in of sound card, which is a VIA 82XX on-board card. (I
listed /proc/pci contents in the log file too )
I tried opening up the line in and capture , doesn't work
either.
(2) sometimes the live TV shows don't come up, even when they do,
I can't change channel with mythtv. I press up down arrow, or
the number pad keys, some numbers show up on the screen, but
the actual contents of Live TV dont' change.
I tried xawTV too, can't change it either, no sound either.
I don't know if this is a problem with driver, so I listed my
modules out in the log file.
basically, I have bttv and v4l2-common drivers.
(3) when I do mythfilldatabase, it seems to have the list of
correct stations, but it fails to parse out tv listing info from
the list it downloads. I saw xmltv is obsolete, but since gentoo
is automatically emerging it with mythtv, probablly it should work
too ( though may not as well as datadirect )
I included the error message in the log file too.
