Yes that'd probable although I think I mentioned that only Mythtv locks 
up my machine as I can't reporoduce the problem with anyother software 
(xine, dvbstream etc.) in the hope that somebody might know what it does 
that's different.

Latest version of mythtv, although I notice that was a whole bunch of 
cvs commits for dvb which I've not tried yet. I need to be at home to 
test mythtv and going to work is a pain for that stuff.

I've tried the latest CVS DVB (couldn't see any diffirence between that 
and the snapshot I used originaly).  Not realised there is a difference 
between CVS DVB and dvb-kernel so perhaps I can look at that.

I've tried a number of permutation of kernel's but none of the stock 
fedora or aptrpms kernels appear to do anything different..

I've already posted but I've not heard anything so far..Saddly I suspect 
deep dark errors in kernel drivers are not what people like doing for 
fun.. <Chuckle>
