Cross-posting since I am using Myth and it only hangs in Myth and not
using "dd"

I am currently experiencing system hangs while watching live tv using
Myth-cvs + ivtv-0.1.9, which I just downloaded this morning. It hangs
anywhere from 5-30 seconds after switching to live tv.

Here is the only thing I see in /var/log/messages when I startup Myth:

Jan 14 11:06:24 pvr1 kernel: saa7115[0]: decoder set size
Jan 14 11:06:24 pvr1 kernel: Hpsc: 0x00001, Hfsc: 0x00600
Jan 14 11:06:24 pvr1 kernel: Setting full NTSC height
Jan 14 11:06:25 pvr1 kernel: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.

I do see this when I startup the dm:

Jan 14 10:56:54 pvr1 kernel: ivtv: ivtv-api.c: unknown ioctl 0x803c7601
Jan 14 10:56:54 pvr1 kernel: ivtv: ivtv-api.c: unknown ioctl 0x803c7601

I didn't see much recent info in a short list on a google search for
this. My system is an ABIT BL-7 w/Intel 1.9GHz, w/Intel chipset.
PVR-350 & NVIDIA FX-5200 video.

I'm using TV-Out on the PVR-350, and I'm following along on the
"TvOutHowto" on the wiki.

Any other info I can provide to help me figure out how to make this
thing stable?
