I was having the same problem but found that my ffmpeg was an old
version. I use gentoo, so the stable version is 0.4.7 but I upgraded to
0.4.8 (ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~x86 emerge ffmpeg) and nuvexport started to
work. ymmv
