Hello mythTV-ML,

mythTV works very well on the PC-Screen! :-)
Now the next step is to get mythTV to the TV screen! I've a

03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 MX 420]
(rev a3)

card in my Computer, this card has a TV-Out, and i wanna get the mythTV-screen
to TV!

Backwards I've often worked with xine and this command-line to get xine to the
TV:

X -screen TV :1 -ac & sleep 2; DISPLAY=:1 xine && kill `ps aux | awk '
/X\ -screen/ {print$2}'`

and it works good for me, but I allways must change the server
<Strg>+<Alt>+<F8>!
For mythTV i want it to show both sreens (no switching)!

But now I've tried it also with mythTV and it won't work as well, I just get
blue stripes on my TV!

I've seen lots of postings in the ML but I don't really know if this at all is
what I need!
I need a PC with a dualscreen, one screen to work and the other screen for
mythTV and remote (like descriped above, without switching between the
screens)!
Is this Graphic Card good enough for this?
Has anybody work this well and can tell me how, or can give informations to
get something like this work?

The next possibility to make it with a second (old) PCI-graphics-card.
But the VGA to (S-)Video Adapters are very expensive! Has anybody any idea for
this (I've tried to make such an adapter by my self but it won't work!)

Thanks for your Information and Ideas
cu mIke

P.S..: The nvidia-drivers work! (4191)

P.P.S.: if my XF86config helps i can post it, but I think t's too much for
this first posting!

P.P.S.: I hope you understand everything!

Thanks
