I tried CVS once and hit at a wrong moment and had worse problems than I'm
having now. I know I probably could have waited and updated again in a
few days but since we're actually using it in the living room I decided to
just go back to 0.14 for now. And yes I did backup and restore my DB in
that process.

Yes that's how my setup works.

Actually as soon as I click on "watch recordings" the current recordings
in progress are stopped imediately. This could be because of the little
preview window in the bottom right corner that's accessing the recording.
And yes I'm using the 350's TV out.

It's been a while since I've done it but I do have both the back and
frontend logging to log files. Here's what I see in my frontend log from
last night around the time I tried to watch a show while others were in
progress of recording.

Those bad newframe lines go on for about 30+ lines.
Then I see some lines like this. Not sure if this helps you any.

No can't say I ever have.

I agree. If yours is working then don't go try breaking it. You may end
up stuck.

> Another thing you should try is myth-cvs. It works great for me.

I may eventually go that way. I thought for sure 0.15 or atleast a 0.14r2
would be released since there seem to be some major fixes in current cvs.
It won't record duplicate episodes anymore, and you can watch live tv for
more than a few hours without it breaking up into jerky video and audio.

Thanks
Malcolm
