Mine is working great with lirc and my homebuilt receiver. I'm not using the
default code set though so I see no point in posting my lircd.conf. (I have
an actual Tivo working in the same room with another Tivo remote on a
different code set.
One tip... Since the basic Tivo doesn't have any volume/mute capabilities,
those 3 buttons do nothing without being programmed for TV or AV codes.
Simply pick a code set that doesn't interefere with any of your other
equipment and train lirc for just those 3 buttons and add that remote
configuration to your lircd.conf along with your Tivo codes. It's not
immediately obvious to everybody that lircd can easily accomodate multiple
remote definitions in a single config file and thereby seamelessly handle
codes from multiple remotes or a single remote using multiple code types.
