[mythtv-users] Power Heat Noise

I'm willing to bet serious money that your processor is not loud, and as such, replacing it won't make a difference. (After all, the CPU has no moving parts--what could make nois?)
 
What could be loud is the CPU fan, case fase fans, case, hard drives and CD/DVD-ROM drives. Look at those for the culprit!
