[mythtv-users] using mysql to manually edit backend settings?

I might be able to help you here.. I'm working on a project to do
exactly what you need - to be able to edit the backend configuration
without having to run the backend setup program.

It's being developed as a Webmin module and I should have something
together by the end of the week. Look for an announcement here soon.

ok, i got myphpadmin up and running...to refresh, what i am trying to
do is manually set the input connections part of the setup, 
  Field  Type Attributes Null Default Extra Action 
   cardinputid  int(10)  UNSIGNED No    auto_increment              
   cardid  int(10)  UNSIGNED No  0                
   sourceid  int(10)  UNSIGNED No  0    

i am assuming i have to change one or all of those, unfortunately i
have no clue what they should be set as, could anyone who has a working
database see what their values are? I am going to be using composite
cable.
