I've gone two weeks without killing it recently. The last time I had to
kill it was related to using fastforward (not skip). It froze. I
unmapped the FFWD, RWD buttons in Lirc to disable use of that and
haven't had a problem since.

AMD 1800 XP
256 MB PC2700 RAM
2 x 80 GB HD's (one for DIVX, MP3's and OS, the other for TV recordings)
Shuttle CrappolaŽ mobo (wouldn't recommend on an enemy)
ATI TV Wonder VE
Voodoo3 3500 TV card (for TV-out)
Case with power supply that doesn't fit:

Microsoft PS/2 Mouse
no keyboard
Sanyo 27" TV

A client is supposed to give me a GF4-MX440 card that will probably
become the new TV out so I can do overscan.
