[mythtv-users] Strange disk I/O

I have a similar hardware setup, but see constant disk I/O every 1/2
second when mythfront is simply running.
If I kill mythfrontend the disk I/O stops, if I start mythfrontend then
the disk I/O starts again.

Here is my hardware setup:
SK41G
Athlon XP 1700+
256MB PC2700 DDR
PVR-250

I am running knoppmyth R4 with the MythTV 0.14 .deb packages.
I saw the same thing happen on the default install as well.

Any idea on what it is that causes this constant disk I/O when the system
is totally idle?
