[mythtv-users] prebuffering pause

Hi,

I build myself a mythtv based VCR and am struggling with small skips
inplayback (both LiveTV and Recordings). 

Hardware:

   * Shuttle ST62K Barebone / 512MB RAM / Celeron 2.4GHz
   * Terratec Cinergy 400TV
   * SEAGATE ST3160023A - 160GB

I tried all the hints I found. I changed the resolution, the MPEG4
bitrate, sync on video, etc. nothing really helped.

System load is arounf 40%,with peaks at 90%. I couldn't make out any
connection between the load peaks and the skips in the stream though. 

Starting the forntend with '-v playback,libav' I see this leading to the
pause:
