I had similar problems with my Mandrake setup this weekend. I solved 
them by reverting to an older version of ivtvdev_drv, rather than the 
one that comes with ivtv-0.2.0.rc3. I can't find a version number in 
it anywhere, but the file size is 17902 bytes, and what I have is 
dated October 16th (that might just be the date I downloaded it, 
though.)
