I'm seeing an occasional prebuffering pause when in the program guide moving 
around to new program data. It only happens when loading up new program info, 
because if you go back to already accessed data, there's no pause. That's the 
only time I've seen them, but I don't watch much live TV. However, of the 
stuff I have watched live and some longer recordings, I still don't recall 
seeing that happen.

One difference could be that I'm using the non-3D driver with AGP DMA access 
enabled. Though I don't recall problems before switching AGP DMA access on... 
That's really about it, everything else is pretty standard, I think.

I'm using OSS emulation atop ALSA.
