 First off, it's /dev/hda2, not dev\hda2, etc.

 When you do the 'vgdisplay -v', check for "Free PE / Size". This'll
show you if you have any unallocated space in your volume group.
If the missing space isn't there, then you'll have to go through your
list of logical volumes and check to ensure that their filesystems
are actually filling their allocated space (lvdisplay /dev/vg00/lvol1,
df -h | grep lvol1, etc).
