[mythtv-users] Nice and X to gain better picture quality

I've read that if you nice your X server to a higher priority, you can 
improve your picture quality. Is this true? If so, is it worth it?

I'd like to try it. What would I need to do on my Fedora Core 1 box to 
have X started with a higher priority on boot?
