I'm having some problems getting my RCA DVR40 directv/tivo receiver to
change channels using any of the scripts here. The receiver has a mini
serial port on the back (1/8" phono -- stereo???). First off, does
anybody know if this port is actually enabled on the receiver? I've
done some searching but cannot find anything myth related to this
receiver :(
Is anybody else using a RCA DVR40 direcTV/Tivo receiver?
My backend is a Barton 2500+ on a Leadtek K7NCR18G Pro II motherboard,
512Mb PC3200 RAM, 2x250Gb WD, PNY GeForce4MX 440, Hauppage PVR250.
This backend is also used as a frontend. I also have a XBOX frontend
running Xebian. The XBOX frontend launches from EVOX, and looks great!
(better than the GF4 too). I have the DVD remote for the XBOX and it
works fine -- except that it doesn't change the channel!!!
I've checked <a

Any ideas? Thanks!
